The Auxiliary of Hospice of the Golden Isles recently held its annual meeting and luncheon at St.
Simons Presbyterian Church and installed new officers. Members and guests enjoyed lunch from Halyards Catering and a presentation by speaker Nancy McGuirk. Honey Pauxtis was announced by co-presidents Patsy Bryan and Teri Moore as this year’s Volunteer of the Year. They also presented this year’s donation of $65,000 to Hospice of the Golden Isles to its CEO, Karen Brubaker. The co-presidents announced that the 2nd annual Wine Women & Shoes event presented by the Auxiliary will be held on Saturday, February 21 at the Cloister Ballroom.
