Head Golf Professional at The King and Prince Golf Club, Robert Long, recently was awarded
the Georgia Section, PGA of America East Chapter Player Development Growth of the Game award, and recognized as the East Chapter Player of the Year. The PGA event was held at the Atlanta Braves’ Suntrust Park and recognized professionals from across the state. Before Robert joined the “Home of the Hampton Club,” he worked as a caddie at the Augusta National Golf Club, then began his PGA work at Champions Retreat in Evans, Georgia as an assistant golf professional, and, in 2013, moved to Sea Island Golf Club, furthering his experience to become a PGA Professional.
