Assistant Golf Professional. General Manager and Head Professional Rick Mattox, who has been with the King and Prince Golf Course for 25 years and was honored in 2011 with the Bill Strasbaugh Award, presented to PGA members who have shown outstanding integrity and commitment to mentoring, has selected a seasoned professional to join the Club’s team. Robert Long’s career has included eight years as caddie for Augusta National Golf Club, three years as Assistant Golf Professional at Champions Retreat Golf Club in Evans, Georgia, and a year as Assistant Golf Professional at Sea Island Golf Club. Mattox says, “I am very excited to have Robert Long joining our team.
