The Governor’s Office of Student Achievement recently recognized St. Simons Elementary School as a Platinum Award recipient in the category of Greatest Gains. This award recognizes the top 1% of schools across the state that have exhibited high academic growth over the last three years. St. Simons Elementary School is one of only 28 schools to receive the 2015 Platinum Award for Greatest Gains. This award comes after the school recently received the highest CCRPI rating (College and Career Ready Performance Indicator) in Glynn County and the First District RESA (18 regional counties) for 2015.
