The Sunshine Festival Arts & Craft Show in Postell Park on St. Simons Island will feature regional and local artists and will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and

Sunday.

FRIDAY - JULY 4

The Golden Isles Track Club's Sunshine Festival Fun Run – 4th of July

The Sunshine Festival 1 Mile Fun Run & 5K has been a Golden Isles tradition for 30 years! New this year is electronic chip timing & a USATF certified course. Registration and Packet Pick Up take place July 3 at the St. Simons Casino Building Room 114 from 3-6:00 p.m., and on Race Day at Mallery Park from 6:00-7:15 a.m. SHARP! The 1 Mile Fun Run begins at 7:30 a.m. and the 5K begins at 8:00 a.m. Both races take place at Mallery Park. www.active.com

The Annual Golf Cart Parade begins at 2:00 p.m. at Mallery Park on the 4th and proceeds

through Pier Village on St. Simons Island. The parade will be followed by MAGIC IDOL on the

bandstand at Neptune Park. At 5:00 p.m., there will be live music by Mojo Bone and then headliners, Spike at the Beach will perform at 7:00 p.m. and following the fireworks at the pier at dusk. Sunshine Festival events are sponsored by the Pier Village Association and Iguanas Seafood Restaurant. Special thanks to the Glynn County Commissioners, the Golden Isles Visitors Bureau and GCPD.

SATURDAY

The Sunshine Festival will host a Movie Night Under the Stars in Neptune Park on St. Simons

Island with a family friendly movie and fun games for the kids starting at 7:30 p.m. Free and open to the public. Food concessions will be available for purchase at the park.
