Cinema Gourmet :"Singin’ in the Rain"

Cinema Gourmet, Golden Isles Arts and Humanities’ popular series pairing delicious food with classic films, concludes for the season with a screening of the classic Hollywood musical Singin’ in the Rain, on Thursday, April 9. The film’s screening and discussion are paired with the creative culinary creations of chef Kate Buchanan of Indigo Coastal Shanty. The evening’s events at the Historic Ritz Theatre, 1530 Newcastle St., Brunswick, Ga., begin with the tasting at 6:30 p.m. Jim Jinkins will present the film talk. The deadline for buying tickets for the tasting, talk and movie is midnight on Monday, April 6. Tickets are $18 and can be purchased online at www.goldenisles.org or by phone or in person at the Ritz Theatre in downtown Brunswick, Wednesdays through Fridays 9 a.m. -5 p.m., and Saturdays 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Tickets for the talk and movie only are $5 each at the door.
