The Godfather

Cinema Gourmet, Golden Isles Arts and Humanities’ popular series pairing delicious food with classic films, kicks off at the Historic Ritz Theatre with the multi-generational crime sage, The Godfather. The film’s screening and discussion are paired with the culinary creations of chef Kate Buchanan of Indigo Coastal Shanty. The evening’s events begin with the tasting at 6:30 p.m. Due to the length of the film, the discussion of what makes the film a “must-see” will start at 6:45 p.m.

The deadline for buying tickets is midnight on Monday, Oct. 6. Tickets are $18 and can be purchased by phone with a credit card or in person at the Ritz Theatre, Wednesdays through Fridays 9 a.m. -5 p.m., and Saturdays 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. Tickets may also be purchased securely online at www.goldenislesarts.org.
