David Grimes and Gregory Newton have performed together since the mid-1990s. Their concerts have been received enthusiastically throughout North America and Europe, and they were recently featured at the First International Cape Town Guitar Festival in South Africa.
This season they are joined by recording artist Michael Nigro to form the Trio Camino, presenting a varied and colorful program of classical guitar duets and trios.
Their program, will feature duos and trios from Greece to Latin America by composers Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Julio César Oliva (Mexico), Jorge Cardoso (Argentina), Manos Hatzidakis (Greece) and many others.
