Jekyll Island Book Festival

The 2nd annual book festival is designed for all book-lovers and includes a mix of author presentations, meet-and-greets & signings, book and retail sales, and family-friendly fun.

The main event of the Jekyll Island Book Festival, the Turtle Stage will feature presentations from several esteemed authors. Emceed by Bryan Thompson, the Turtle Stage presenting authors will give readings from their books, share insights from the writing process, and answer questions from the audience. Between author presentations, enjoy live music.

• 10-10:45 a.m.: Todd Richards*
• 11-11:30 a.m.: Xhenet Aliu*
• 11:45-12:30 p.m.: Virginia Willis*
• 12:45-1:15 p.m.: Taylor Brown*
• 1:30-2:15 p.m.: Carla Hall*

*Book Signing will take place at the end of the Authors’ Pavilion, 15 minutes after each author’s presentation.

Wee Pub Stage

Wee Pub Stage, located inside Wee Pub Beach, will feature local and regional talent emceed by Eddie Pickett, with live music performances by Paul Ivey.

*Book Signing will take place at Booth #10 in the Authors’ Pavilion.

Jekyll Market Stage

A new addition to the Festival, the Jekyll Market Stage will host members from The Jekyll Island Chronicles for a special presentation and book signing.

• 12-1 p.m.: The Jekyll Island Chronicles Reading & Signing

The Westin Stage

Sit, sip, and listen at the Pinot and Poetry feature located within The Westin Jekyll Island for a reading and signing by Kristin Roberston.
