The Coastal Georgia Historical Society is pleased to introduce a new winter series called "Journeys" combining educational programming with an expert-led field trip. The inaugural theme will be the American Bomber Boys of World War II.
On March 3, the Society hosts a lecture by Donald L. Miller, famed author and World War II historian. Dr. Miller's best-selling book, Masters of the Air, tells the personal stories of the young Americans who brought to war to Hitler's doorstep. He will describe the process of adapting his book into a ten-part television series on HBO, produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg.
