Haute Cuisine. France, 2012, directed by Christian Vincent. Hortense is a successful and renowned chef and restaurateur in the Perigord region of France. She is surprised, and a bit overwhelmed, when she receives the nomination to be the President of the Republic’s, Francois Mitterand, private chef. She reluctantly takes the position and does her best to provide her new boss with the best of traditional French ‘haute cuisine.’ In French with English subtitles; 95 minutes; Rated PG 13.
