America's Second Harvest Food Bank is handing out boxes of food to families in need Saturday morning, October 15. They are asking for volunteers to come out to 134 Indigo Drive in Brunswick to help distribute 600 boxes of food and water. The boxes will be distributed in "drive-thru" fashion, so volunteers will be placing boxes into cars. Please arrive by 8:30 a.m. to help. Wear closed toe shoes and a smile. Volunteers will be needed to work until about 11:00 a.m. Please share the info and also let anyone in need of food assistance know about the distribution. Proper ID with address will be needed for each family to receive a box.
