Travel to coastal Georgia’s wildest places on exclusive adventures led by wildlife experts. Enjoy a Friday night cocktail reception and silent auction rich in weekend getaways,

wildlife memorabilia and stunning artwork. Revel in Saturday night’s black tie-optional banquet and crowd-raising verbal auction led by Gov. Deal and DNR Commissioner Mark Williams. As you gain treasured memories, you’ll help conserve Georgia’s nongame wildlife – native species not legally fished for or hunted.

Weekend for Wildlife has something for everyone. Featured items include a trip to Costa Rica, hunts with celebrities like Jeff Foxworthy, original oil paintings by nationally known artists, and many more unique items. This year, the table directions will be for sale and consist of handmade pottery that features images of right whales that have been documented off of Georgia’s coast. Each one includes the whale's photograph, information about the whale and where  it was photographed. All proceeds benefit The Environmental Resources Network (T.E.R.N.), the Nongame Conservation Section’s Friends Group for Wildlife is helping ensure this resource – even when it weighs in at 70 tons--is around for generations to treasure.
