Here on St. Simons Island, there’s more light than white in our Christmases, so the spirit of the season shines extra bright. That makes the setting for our holiday fashion shoot especially fitting. From the top of the St. Simons lighthouse to the beautifully decorated A.W. Jones Heritage Center, our lovely models show off fashion from local boutiques that will take you from holiday ornament exchanges and Christmas concerts to the office party or a cozy evening by the fireplace at The Cloister. Whether you arrive by boat, antique fire truck, or sleigh, we’re ready for you, Santa!

THANK YOU!
Holidays are a time to gather together, and we sure did that during this month’s fashion shoot! Special thanks to the staff of the Coastal Georgia Historical Society, store staff members Duane Shearer and Chris Simmons, and Director of Museum Retail Eric Oberg. Eric ended up art directing this shoot and we are absolutely thrilled he did. Annaliese Kondo of Studio Pixel Pop and Mallory Sailors of Coastal Glam continue to be our winning combination. Always appreciated, ladies. Thank you to our local boutiques for coming through beautifully with holiday fashions. The models were just the right “sparkly” fit. Kudos to the boss, David Butler, and Jeff Burton for running around to pick up and return truckloads of props promptly without a bit of trouble. Thanks to longtime EIL staffers Julie and Molly for help with the holiday décor and to our newest staff member, Melissa, who was thrown into the fire but rose to the occasion as a fantastic go-to girl! As for catering, what can we say?! Tasteful Temptations! If you’re having a holiday event and need the perfect menu, give them a call. Now, dear readers, outfit yourself for the holidays; we’ve got you covered!
