APPLE NACHOS
Peanuts and applies are a natural pair and give a little protein boost after a day at the desk. If peanuts are a problem in your home, you can easily substitute caramel topping for melted peanut butter, other varieties of granola, and other types of chopped nuts instead of peanuts.
Ingredients:
2 medium apples (Fuji or Granny Smith)
1/3 c. creamy peanut butter, melted
1/4 c. peanut butter granola
1/4 c. peanuts, crushed into small pieces
1/4 c. raisins
Preparation:
Cut apples into thin slices and arrange on a plate. Drizzle melted peanut butter over apple slices with a spoon, top with granola, raisins, and crushed peanuts. Serve with remaining melted peanut butter for dipping.
