Sometimes the best way to address an issue is with the simplest explanation. This clip from Sesame Street focuses on the serious growing problem of childhood hunger. This is why programs such as Blessings in a Backpack are absolutely essential.
The clip here talks about another national organization that addresses childhood hunger. The local program that is supported by the Davis Love Foundation and that is actively providing services to almost 500 Altama Elementary School students in Brunswick is Blessings in a Backpack. A St Simons Winter Wonderland is donating proceeds from all sales they make to the local Blessings in a Backpack program so we can help eradicate the issue of childhood hunger and the problems it causes in our community.
