Keeping Our Community Afloat
Our local non-profits and charitable organizations are where many turn when they are struggling to keep their heads above water, and act as our buoys. In the same way, these organizations need our support through giving and volunteerism to keep them afloat and able to render aid. In this month’s issue, we’re sharing stories about local organizations and the services they provide, as well as the ways you can assist them through volunteer opportunities and/or donations. For our fashion feature, shot by Annaliese Kondo, individuals from several local nonprofit organizations model seasonal styles from local retailers while enjoying an evening cruise we arranged with Legacy Charters aboard the Edmond Dantes. You can learn more about the non-profits they represent in the CommUNITY Connections directory.
